Biopatch® Protective Disk is used for reducing local infections. Catheter-related blood stream infections (CRBSI) and skin colonization of microorganisms commonly associated with CRBSI in patients with central venous and arterial catheters.

• Continually releases chlorhexidine gluconate for 7 days, absorbs up to 8x its own weight in fluid, non-toxic, non-irritating and inhibits gram- and gram+ organisms on the skin.
• Latex-free.
