The Silicone-Elastomer Coated Foley Catheter by Medline is an indwelling catheter featuring a new and innovative technology. This catheter undergoes a manufacturing process that provides the maximum amount of silicone coating available. This urinary catheter is latex but it is coated internally and externally with a silicone, elastomer coating. This enables the catheter to resist encrustation and bacterial colonization.
